The Factory
Our hand forged Copper Stills are made in Portugal. The factory was founded in 1837 and has been operating ever since. This art and know-how has been passed down from generation to generation. To keep up with more modern times traditional techniques have at times been modified and new alembic models have been presented.
The Farmacy
You can visit us at our store in Beechworth, NE Victoria. We hold workshops and have several stills on display.
We are a herbal Apothecary with a focus on Bioregional and Ayurvedic herbs grown on our medicinal herb farm not far from our store.
Getting started
It’s important to season your new still before you use it for the first time with a rye flour paste, it will remove any impurities from inside.
Weather it’s distilling for essential oils, hydrolats or spirits, you’ll find loads of handy information on this site so you can confidently delve into the world of distilling your own botanicals.
